A big welcome to Nicola Presford (Nursing Manager) and Jackie Glew (Residential Care Manager) as they join us at Bunkers Hill.
Strengthening the management team at the home both Nicola and Jackie bring a wealth of experience to their respective roles.
Nicola has been a registered Nurse since 1991 and has worked in both general medicine and elderly health environments. She really enjoys her hands on nursing role at Bunkers, caring for residents and being part of a great team.
A fun fact about Nicola – she got her first nurses uniform as a Christmas present from Mum and Dad when she was only 3 years old!
Jackie was part of the team at Bunkers Hill between 2005 and 2014. She was a team leader as well as the home’s Moving and Handling Trainer and Infection Control Lead. This breadth of experience means she is well placed to manage the Residential Care team- a role she is really looking forward to developing.
A fun fact about Jackie – her favourite desert is cheesecake and she is actively campaigning to have it on the menu at Bunkers – every day!
We hope that both Nicola and Jackie enjoy their new roles and are confident they will make a great addition to the team and will ensure that our residents get the very best care at all times.
