This week has been Mental Health Awareness week, and here at United Children’s Services we thought it important to do our bit and try to break the stigma surrounding mental health to get people talking.
Between the ages of 16-24 in the UK, 1 in 6 people experience some form of common form of mental health disorder, such as anxiety or depression. If you or someone you love are going through a tough time then it is important that you reach out to someone, whether that is friends, family or a mental health professional, it is important you get the support you need, and remember, seeking help is a sign of strength and will only impact you positively.
